Keep Britain Tidy sees Red Over Elastic Bands

Red elastic bands dropepd by Royal Mail are now a common form of litter - they seem to have replaced cigarette butts as the things you are most likely to see on every road. If you are tired of seeing them littering our streets, then collect them and send them to arrive by 30 April to:

The Press Office,
Keep Britain Tidy,
Elizabeth House,
The Pier,
Wigan WN3 4EX

to help in their campaign to stop this institutionalised habit.

See this site for more details, and the follow-on post here. Also this BBC News piece from 25th June 09.
